The Foundation for Community Betterment will host ‘Bon Voyage with Betterment,’ a fun, festive travel–themed event on March 24, 2012 at 6 p.m. at 256 Worth Ave. in Palm Beach, formerly known as the Old Gucci Courtyard. In addition to an evening filled with cocktails, food, entertainment and exciting auctions, guests will have the chance to win a week’s getaway for two anywhere in the U.S. where RCI Timeshares are available, as well other travel-related prizes available for raffle. Event proceeds benefit the Foundation for Community Betterment.

The winner can choose to relax on the beach in Honolulu, Hawaii; stroll along the city sidewalks in New York; explore the beautiful landscape in Anchorage, Alaska; go skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado, or choose another desirable destination around the country. The prize also includes two $250 travel vouchers.

“Betterment has quickly made its mark by creating dynamic events involving biking, a game day, and more… now we’re adding another ‘wow’ by creating a fun, upscale, travel-themed event that will give guests the feel of getaway while not leaving the area,” said Meagen Springer, chair of the Palm Beach County chapter of Betterment.

Tickets purchased in advance by March 19, 2012 are $75 per person or $125 for two tickets and include one raffle ticket for a chance to win the getaway. Guests can purchase additional raffles for the getaway for $25 each during the event. Tickets at the door are $90 per person or $150 per couple.

The Palm Beach County chapter Board members include Meagen Springer, Jenni Garrison, Jude Kinasewitz, Erin Ryan, Alyson Seligman, Talia Rocha, Gina Stouffer and Amy Young.

The Foundation for Community Betterment is a national non-profit organization that provides immediate help to deserving individuals in the community who currently lack the means to succeed. To date, the 12-year old organization, which was founded in Washington D.C. by eight young professionals, now has seven chapters nationwide and has helped more than 157 recipients worldwide.

For more information about the event, or to make a donation, visit www.communitybetterment.org or email pbc@communitybetterment.org.

The location of RCI timeshare and date to be determined by winner and subject to availability. Condo size may vary based on location/availability. Size ranges from studio up to three bedroom. Condo must be booked one month in advance of travel. Travel must be complete by 3/24/13. Includes two $250 flight vouchers. You need not be present to win.
