ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Temple Orange at The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach is known for a sunny “rise and shine” breakfast and brunch. Now, Sunday brunch boasts a savvy approach to getting a morning dose of Vitamin C—the Citrus Sommelier. Along with coffee, freshly squeezed Florida juice is always a staple of any breakfast or brunch, but now the sommelier whips up fresh citrus juice cocktails and smoothies and of course, juice by the glass.

The actual Temple Orange, a native Floridian fruit, is a cross between the sweet orange and tangerine--a perfect accompaniment (and namesake) to the sun-shiny ambience of the restaurant itself. Just in time for peak season and direct from the groves, the oranges will be bursting with flavor and color—a celebration of citrus!

One of the signature cocktails of the Citrus Sommelier is the Temple Orange Screwdriver—a new twist to the classic cocktail. 4 Orange Premium Vodka is also a key ingredient. This innovative spirit owes its exceptional quality to the rich and fertile groves of Florida. The recipe is below for a DIY version; or visit Temple Orange Freshly Squeezed Brunch on Sundays from 10:00AM – 2:00PM.
