Inspired by Obon, Japan’s traditional three-day holiday honoring ancestors and thanking them for the quality of life enjoyed by the living, The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens will celebrate the 32nd annual Bon Festival in one family fun-packed evening. Attendees will enjoy taiko drum performances, traditional Japanese folk dancing, a street fair, games, vendor booths, fireworks, and a special departure of ancestors’ ceremony.
